Overview
Welcome to 50 South Sixth
A building for the future, where leading edge technology and timeless design come together to create an innovative and comfortable workplace.
Fifty South Sixth is a 29-story, 698,606-square-foot Class A office tower located in the heart of the Downtown Minneapolis Central Business District. The building was designed by architect Peter Van Vechten of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP. It opened in July of 2001, making it the newest Class A office building in Minneapolis.
It was designed to maximize the tenant view corridors by constructing the parking garage levels above grade. The above grade parking levels are fully enclosed with the same curtainwall materials as the office floors to produce a Class A building exterior for the entire structure. The office floors of the building are larger than traditional floor plates in this market and allow tenants to achieve superior space planning efficiencies.
Fifty South Sixth was developed as an architecturally significant, tenant efficient building. It offers world class quality with an efficient, cost competitive design and state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical and vertical transportation systems.
Fifty South Sixth is owned by Mapletree Investments, a leading real estate development, investment, capital and property management company headquartered in Singapore.
